About A Walk in the Alps artwork...by the artist
With this painting I continued my current enjoyment of focusing on a limited colour palette. This time, working with gorgeous shades and hues of green, with a bit of teal and a pop of lovely pale pink.
The painting takes me back to a lovely summer trip in the French Alps. Mountain slopes that I had previously experienced covered in snow, and perhaps skied on, were now beautiful green meadows dotted with little pink flowers. Now a place to walk and wander, and bask in the sunlight. So very different in summer than in winter. The light a little softer, and warmer, but still with dramatic scenery, angles and lines.
The result is a very contemporary artwork, full of strong lines and strokes, soft curves and drips and visual textures. The final prints are a treat on their thick, lightly textured paper.

Frames
We currently offer unframed prints only.
Choosing a frame is very subjective and comes down to personal taste. So we leave the choice of frame to you so you can display the print with your own flair.

DELIVERY
Our art prints and posters are made to order with the same care and attention that went into designing and creating them.
They are professionally printed by us, and then carefully packaged with love.
Your art prints and posters (all sizes except Mini Print Gift Sets) will be wrapped and rolled in protective inner and outer tubes. We use a smart black inner gift tube which opens from the centre so that you can easily remove your print.
Sets of three mini art prints are placed in a gift envelope, which is then dispatched in a hard-back outer envelope.
Our clocks and wall sculptures are equally packaged with care and love in many layers of protective packaging and strong outer cartons.
Order dispatch
Print orders are custom-printed. They are usually dispatched within 5-7 days of receipt.
Wall clocks and sculptures are usually dispatched within 3-5 days of receipt.
