About this artwork of 15 miniature square paintings earthy autumnal colours... by the artist
This artwork contains 15 little paintings in one. Essentially, each one is a miniature mixed media study of composition and colour, textures and marks.
To begin the piece, I divide the paper in 15 squares with lightly drawn pencil marks. Each of those small squares then becomes an individual painting. I work in various media to create layers of paint strokes and spatters, pastel squiggles, ink drips, collage pieces and more.
The challenge is to make each little painting look great on its own, while making the whole piece work in terms of composition, energy and colour. So I go back and forth until I feel that the balance is just right. I can get lost for hours in the happy zone of creating these! 🤣
My colour palette for this artwork was full of beautiful mixes of autumn shades including burgundy, orange, red, yellow and earthy brown. With touches of lavender and pale pink. Rich, warm, vibrant colours with thoughts of an invigorating autumn walk kicking up leaves, followed by hot chocolate by an open fire.

We choose which paper to use according the style and aesthetics of the print and the effect we want to achieve.

Our professional Canon Lucia pigment inks offer accurate colour reproduction, superior light fastness and resistance to fading.
Frames
We currently offer unframed prints only.
Choosing a frame is very subjective and comes down to personal taste. So we leave the choice of frame to you so you can display the print with your own flair.

DELIVERY
Our art prints and posters are made to order with the same care and attention that went into designing and creating them.
They are professionally printed by us, and then carefully packaged with love.
Your art prints and posters (all sizes except Mini Print Gift Sets) will be wrapped and rolled in protective inner and outer tubes. We use a smart black inner gift tube which opens from the centre so that you can easily remove your print.
Sets of three mini art prints are placed in a gift envelope, which is then dispatched in a hard-back outer envelope.
Our clocks and wall sculptures are equally packaged with care and love in many layers of protective packaging and strong outer cartons.
Order dispatch
Print orders are custom-printed. They are usually dispatched within 5-7 days of receipt.
Wall clocks and sculptures are usually dispatched within 3-5 days of receipt.
